Objective: To design a sequence of residential façades (twin villas) that balances
contemporary aesthetics with functional performance, while establishing a strong and
unified visual identity.
Concept:The design is centered around geometrical interlocking masses, emphasizing
depth and vertical layering instead of traditional flat surfaces, resulting in a dynamic and
visually engaging façade.
Materials & Key Features
Material Contrast: A carefully curated palette of contrasting materials was used:
Light White Masses (White Solid): Form the primary framework, creating a sense of
purity, clarity, and refined sophistication.
Dark Gray / Concrete Finishes (Dark Gray / Concrete):
Used to define transitions and add depth, creating strong visual contrast.
Warm Wood Paneling (Warm Wood Paneling): Introduced to add natural warmth,
functioning as Sun Breakers that enhance privacy and regulate sunlight.
Expansive Glazing:Large windows maximize natural daylight and strengthen the visual
connection with the surrounding environment.
Outcome:A design that reflects contemporary luxury, achieved through the harmonious
yet bold interplay of clean lines, natural materials, and modern industrial finishes.
